Inter-Schools Championships 2018

This event is for ALL our students, from beginner to advanced + grades. There will be medal positions for top 3 students in each division. Depending on entry numbers, grades could be split into age divisions also with medal placings for each group. Every student who participates will contribute to the points total for their school. There will be a School Trophy awarded to winning school and the school team captain will be the oldest & highest grade student from that school. Hamilton City GymSports is our venue that caters for National program competitions, there is plenty of seating at facility. Entry is free for spectators so feel free to bring the family along. Helpful Parent Information:
1. What division can my child enter?
Children can enter the division that matches their grade certificate or below. If it is their first event we recommended to start at a grade lower than what they are currently working towards. Please read PDF document with division chart to see what graded certificate matches each division.
2. Are there any additional practice sessions for those wanting some extra tuition?
YES! There will be 3 special training sessions leading into event during the month of May 2018:
(1) Saturday 12th May (2) Saturday 19th May (3) Saturday 26th May at the following Locations:
Impact Gymsport, ASB Bay park Areana, Shed 1, Mount Maunganui or Turn & Circle Gymnastics, Ridout Street, Hamilton.
Time: 12:30 - 2:30p.m
Cost $20 casual fee
3. What clothing should my child wear to the event?
Tight, comfortable clothing is essential for optimal performance. Girls will need to wear leotard or tight sports top with either bike pants or leggings and boys a sports T-shirt and shorts. There will be no "special" matching school outfits required for this event and children are free to choice own sports wear. Bare feet, long hair tied back off face tidy, warm clothes for before and after event.
